Building on an
initial ten-year career in international banking, I have spent
the last ten years as a Senior Business Analyst
developing and supporting several international payment
and foreign exchange systems. An innovative and experienced
problem solver, I have honed my process analysis/design skills
working on, then leading, a range of application development
projects including mainframe through to web-based environments.
It was in 1997, while
working in a technical writing role, that I discovered my
interest in, and natural talent for, business writing and communication.
Since that point, I have refocused my energies into growing my
dual competencies in business analysis and technical writing,
supplemented by extensive study in this area.
Ten years on and I
now deliver value to clients via a relatively rare skill set -
that of relationship manager turned business analyst/technical
writer. And I love it! Communication is no longer simply part of
the job; it is my passion and my hobby. I thrive upon the
challenge of eliminating confusion and uncertainty through
effective analysis and clear, concise documentation.
I love dealing with
people from all walks of life and enjoy learning about new
systems and processes. It is always a thrill to help my
customers achieve their goals.
